Pros and Cons

Pros

The website is free and the navigation is very good. The labels are explicit and the layout makes it easy to find information on the website. There are many links available that connect concepts or show the relationship between concepts within the website and provided is a list of links to other math websites.

The computer manipulatives and illustrations used are appropriate and relevant. They help with the explanation of concepts.

There is a multiple-choice quiz after each concept. Each question has immediate feedback with an explanation for the correct answer.

There is a comprehensive and extensive mathematical dictionary that students can use to broaden their understanding.

Teachers can find a vast range of resources that are free and printable.

Cons

The website does not have other reading options for persons with certain disabilities or for very young students who are now learning to read. There is no audio alternative to access the information other than reading.

Even though there is material for children from as young as 3 years old, the website is not suitable to be navigated by students of this age without assistance.

There are no videos included that would appeal to the audio/visual learner
