Description of website: Mathsisfun.com is a free educational website and as its name suggests the content deals with concepts in mathematics. It was developed by Rod Pierce DipCE BEng and is maintained by him with contributions from others. This website teaches mathematical concepts in a fun and easy way to students from Prekindergarten (3 years) to Grade 12 (18 years). It covers Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Measurement, Consumer Arithmetic, Calculus and Physics. The topics are extensive and comprehensive in material. This website is designed to allow students to learn through problem-solving and project base techniques. The website is also useful to teachers in assisting with activities and materials.
The evaluation criteria were used to evaluate the usefulness of the website Mathisfun.com for teaching and learning.
